Gabrielle Segal | Director of Business Development, North America

Based in New York City, Gabrielle serves as a key contact for Oblyon’s North American collectors, partners, and investors in addition to overseeing the underwriting of art-secured financing. Prior to joining Oblyon, Gabrielle led business development for Borro Private Finance, where she drove strategic partnerships in the fine art and financial services sectors and art- secured loan origination.

Gabrielle’s diverse experience in art finance, valuations, and risk management has given her an insightful perspective on the role a collection can play in a client's overall portfolio, and sees incorporating passion assets as a critical step to optimized wealth protection and financial planning.

Gabrielle is a member of the International Society of Appraisers, providing clients USPAP-compliant art appraisals, with a focus on Modern and Contemporary art. She holds a Masters in Contemporary Art and Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art as well as a Bachelors (magna cum laude) in Art History from Hunter College.
